Aussie actor Sam Worthington, famed for his ”Avatar” role, has been tipped as the next person to play the famous spy James Bond.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Worthington, 33, has become the favourite ahead of Will Smith to replace Daniel Craig as the famed British spy on the big screen, reports News.com.au.
His interpretation of Corporal Jake Sully, a disabled soldier who falls in love with an alien from Pandora in Avatar helped the James Cameron film to overtake Titanic as the highest grossing film ever.
Names being touted as his potential love interest as new Bond girls include Britain’’s Cheryl Cole and Freida Pinto, who starred in Slumdog Millionaire.
The only other Australian to play the hero, most famously brought to life by Roger Moore and Sean Connery, was George Lazenby.

American reality TV star Kim Kardashian has added TV production to her list of growing ventures.
The 29-year-old, best known for her role on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, was said to have executive-produced “The SPINdustry”.
The special, featuring entertainment publicists Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck, is set to air after the season finale of the Kardashians reality show, reports the New York Post.
The project is the star’s first behind the camera but not the last, sources claimed.
Kim’s previous business projects vary from her weight-loss supplements to her Sephora perfume.

Rihanna has landed a part in an X-rated Hollywood movie alongside Samuel L Jackson.
The Umbrella hitmaker, who has signed-up with a top agent at William Morris, will play a super sexy, super kinky dominatrix in ‘The Last Dragon’.
“She has landed an incredibly challenging role alongside Samuel L Jackson,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
“But it’’s not a part for the faint-hearted. She will play a super sexy, super kinky dominatrix in martial arts flick The Last Dragon.
“She has been told to research the part – and this could well include a trip to an S&M dungeon,” the source added.

Pop singer Shakira and tennis star Rafael Nadal have sparked rumours that they might be more than just friends.
The pair was spotted sharing a cozy meal at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain, after shooting a video together there late last week.
“There was just the two of them at the table together. They were whispering and all smiles. It definitely looked like they are more than just friends. They were there for a few days shooting,” the New York Post quoted an eyewitness as saying.
Earlier this month, Shakira celebrated her 33rd birthday with long-time fiancé Antonio De La Rua, while Nadal has been dating high school sweetheart Maria Francisca Perello, a.k.a. Xisca, for nearly four years.

MUMBAI: Actress Katrina Kaif seems to be following beau Salman Khan’s footsteps. Every fortnight, Salman is known to make an appearance for his fans on the balcony of his Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra neighbourhood. At times, he even meets them personally. Katrina did the same at her house in Andheri recently.
“Katrina was down with a fever and food poisoning, but she kept her professional commitments,” says a source. While she was leaving to perform at an awards functions, she saw fans who had gathered near her building for a glimpse of her. “So she came out of her car and spent 15 minutes with them,” adds the source.
Also like Salman, who often travels in an auto-rickshaw to work, recently Katrina made her first auto-ride. The actress and her manager had come out of a multiplex after watching Ishqiya at 10.30 pm. “When she couldn’t find her driver due to bad network connectivity, she immediately took an auto from Bandra to Andheri,” says the source.

LOS ANGELES: American musician John Mayer has confessed he’ll always love ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston and regrets the fact he couldn’t be a more mature lover for her.
The couple split in 2009 after a brief romance and Aniston is now reportedly dating Scottish actor Gerard Butler, but Mayer can’t get the “Friends” star out of his head.
“I’ll always be sorry that it didn’t last. In some ways I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32,” he said.
