Cheryl Cole has gone to Los Angeles amid rumours of a troubled marriage.

The Girls Aloud singer, who has been rocked by claims her soccer star husband Ashley Cole had an affair and was sending explicit text messages to a topless model, was spotted boarding a plane at London’s Heathrow Airport after performing at Brit Awards 2010.

She removed her wedding ring for the show but sported a different, chunky gold jewel, reports the Sun.

Cheryl’s reps have said that the singer will be spending a week in the States “writing and recording sessions”.

A spokesperson for Cheryl added that the trip was scheduled ‘last month’.

Kate Moss has been voted Teenagers” Top Role Model in a new poll.

Sixty-eight percent of the 1,032 16-year-olds, who were quizzed, chose the supermodel in the intotheblue.co.uk poll.

Soccer star Wayne Rooney followed the beauty at the second spot with 60 per cent.

Singer Lady Gaga with 53 per cent came third, reports the Mirror.

Also, in the survey, 54 per cent of the teenagers said they wanted to become a celebrity.

Britney Spears is going gaga about her photoshoot for Candie’’s new spring 2010 ad campaign.

The ads, which were shot at Paramount Studios late last year, saw Britney appear before famed snappers Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson.

“Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world, I am honoured to be working with them for my Candie’’s Only at Kohl’’s ads,” the New York Daily News quoted Britney as saying, in a statement.

She added: “It was an amazing shoot and I know my fans are going to love the cool images.”

Each shutterbug saw a different shade of the singer as they chose unique sets and backgrounds for the shoot.

Leibovitz worked with an industrial backdrop, while Richardson shot on a plain white set with colourful props.

Seliger created two elaborate sets – a field with a custom-designed pink Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a French burlesque-inspired dressing room decorated with feather boas and bouquets of flowers.

Britney Spears fronts Candie’’s new spring 2010 ad campaign

Joe Jonas and his brother Nick have received a nomination in the Favourite TV Actor category for the upcoming Nickelodeon Kids” Choice Awards.

The siblings received the nomination for their roles in Disney show Jonas.

However, the award will not come easy, the duo face stiff competition from twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse, who feature in The Suite Life on Deck.

The race for the Favourite TV Actress award is not easier in any way. Contenders include Disney queen Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place), Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) and Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP).

Popular series Hannah Montana has been surprisingly snubbed in the Favourite TV Show category.

Gomez and Cosgrove’’s shows will fight it out for that honour, along with Sonny with a Chance and The Suite Life on Deck.

Cyrus has also been nominated for Favourite Female and Favourite Song for Party in the US. The track is up against I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas, Paparazzi by Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift’’s You Belong with Me, reports the Daily Star.

Cyrus, Swift and Gaga compete against R&B superstar Beyonce in the Favourite Female category, while Jay-Z, Sean Kingston, Mario and Ne-Yo are in the race for the Favourite Male.

The Black Eyed Peas and the Jonas Brothers have also been nominated for for Favourite Music Group where they with fight it out with Coldplay and Linkin Park.

In the Favourite Actor category Zac Efron (17 Again) will be pitched against Taylor Lautner (The Twilight Saga: New Moon), Shia LeBeouf (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) and Tyler Perry (Star Trek).

In the actress category, Cyrus has received a nod for Hannah Montana: The Movie and will battle with Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side), Megan Fox (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) and Zoe Saldana (Star Trek) for the award.

Action blockbusters Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and X-Men Origins: Wolverine are up against fan favourite The Twilight Saga: New Moon and kids” classic Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel for the Favourite Movie accolade, while Up, A Christmas Carol, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Monsters vs. Aliens are all running for the Animated Movie award.

Monsters vs. Aliens stars Reese Witherspoon and Seth Rogen are both nominated in the Favourite Animated Movie Voice category, along with Jim Carrey (A Christmas Carol) and Ray Romano (Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs).

The Kids” Choice Awards are scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on March 27.

Actress Eva Mendes has revealed that she visits a therapist once every week to feel good.

Mendes, 35, also said that it is the easiest way to discuss problems, as the person is not directly involved in her life.

“It’s great when there’s a person who doesn’t have an emotional connection to your life and does everything to make you feel better,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as telling In magazine.

The actress, who has been dating Peruvian filmmaker George Augusto since 2002, also revealed she adores being in a relationship.

“I’m addicted to love,” she stated.

Eva Mendes visits therapist once a week

Singer Lily Allen is delighted to have bagged the British Female Solo Artist trophy at Tuesday’’s BRIT awards and says this is the best way to wrap up her music career.

The Smile hitmaker beat Leona Lewis and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine to win the coveted trophy.

Allen had earlier announced her plan to take a two-year hiatus from recording and performing from March, to focus on her other business ventures.

And she says the BRIT award hasn’t changed her mind.

“This hasn”t changed my plans to quit. It’’s actually been really good as something to work towards for the last six months, knowing I”d be doing this. It is the perfect way to say goodbye. I have so much I want to do now with my shop and record label,” the Daily Star quoted Allen, as saying.

This year’’s Oscars will definitely end on a high note as producers have decided to introduce a ”thank you cam” which will enable winning stars to keep their acceptance speeches short.

The winners will be able to make a second speech back stage to the “thank you cam” in which they will be able to express gratitude to as many colleagues, relatives and loved ones as they like, reports the Telegraph.

Oscar co-producer Bill Mechanic said endless “thank yous” from winners on stage were the “single most-hated thing on the show”.

The “thank you cam” videos will be posted on the Internet and Oscar winners can put them on their own sites or email them to friends.

At a lunch for nominees in Beverly Hills, Mechanic and co-producer Adam Shankman offered tips on how to give a good acceptance speech, instructing potential winners to say what the Oscar means to them.

Actress Renee Zellweger’’s 2004 acceptance speech for best supporting actress in ”Cold Mountain”, was held up as an example.
