Claudia Schiffer has brushed aside the size zero controversy by saying “models have always been thin” and there’s no reason to believe they are unhealthy.

“No I don”t think so, because I think models have always been thin, ever since I can look back anyway – I”ve never… no I don”t think there has ever a moment where it’’s been any different,” the Mirror quoted Schiffer, as saying at the Elle Style Awards.

The 39-year-old German beauty added: “The most important thing is that they are healthy. There will always be an exception somewhere, within any profession, whether it’’s acting or singing. There will always be that one person that is unhealthy and doesn”t eat anything and God knows what else they do.

“I mean, you should be able to spot that, if you are a company or a designer you should be able to say this one particular person is not healthy and maybe we shouldn”t use her.

“But in general I think, you can be thin and be healthy, you can be bigger and be healthy as well, you know. It just depends.”

Lindsay Lohan has opened up about her relationship with Samantha Ronson and says being in a relationship with a girl was very “scary” for her initially.

“I never really thought about women before, it kind of just happened with Samantha,” the New York Daily News quoted Lohan as telling The Sun.

“It surprised me,” she said.

The Mean Girls star went on: “If I wasn”t with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next. She’’s the only woman I”ve been attracted to.”

Although the duo ended their year-and-a-half long last April, Lohan claims to still “love” Ronson.

She said: “We might reconcile the relationship, maybe. I don”t know.”

Lohan revealed that both of them still see each other as they live in the same Los Angeles apartment building.

According to Lohan, the love between her and Ronson was “passionate” but the latter’s family was the cause of their failed relationship’’s problems.

She said: “Her family is very involved in her relationships and that was difficult.

“All the fighting stuff was just because all her friends had got involved and made me an outcast, which wasn”t fair to Samantha. I think it was a jealousy thing in terms of her becoming more famous than the rest of them.”

Lohan added: “I”ve never had a relationship as public as that, especially being with a girl for the first time,” she said of Ronson, 31. That was really scary for me. But I didn”t care because I love her.”

The 17-minute film, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, is back to the big screen at the California theme park, reports the Daily Express.

MJ’s ‘Captain Eo’ returns to Disneyland

Australian model Elle Macpherson has joined a charity campaign to raise awareness of women’s health in a bid to drive down cervical cancer rates.

Macpherson, 46, lent her support to Wellbeing of Women, which funds screenings and vaccinations for females in the U.K., and she is urging them to visit their doctor regularly for health checks.

“Many women don’t take time out to be checked routinely, sometimes choosing to ignore it or worry about being checked,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

“It’s easy to think: ‘It won’t happen to me,’ or ‘I don’t want to know what’s going on.’ The fact is, I always feel better after going to see the doctor for my regular checks.

“I know that I’m okay and that I’ve been responsible and faced my fears. Please get checked, ladies,” she added
