Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez has been revealed to have been dropped by Epic Records following the flop of her two recent singles, “Louboutins” and “Fresh Out of the Oven” on the Billboard charts.

Lopez’s manager, Benny Medina, had claimed that the 40-year-old had not wanted to renew her contract and that it had been a mutual decision not to re-sign.

“Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music group and they have shared many successes together,” the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.

“But the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction of her career as an actress and recording artist,” he said.

But a source has revealed that Epic/Sony was not willing to continue its association with Lopez.

“Jennifer hasn’t been on top of her game for a while,” a source said.

But the singer is not taking the bad news sitting down, and as per a music industry insider she may try to release the album online, now that Epic has shelved it.

“Epic technically owns the material from her album, so she needs to buy it back from them to have control over it,” the source said.

“But she’ll try to release the album online if need be. It may be her last resort to take control of a poor situation,” the source added.

“I took more hell for being fat than I did for being an absolute raging drug addict. I will never understand that,” the New York Post quoted her, as telling Us Weekly.

The 5-foot-2 Kelly revealed she once weighed “almost 160″ pounds but shed 42 pounds.

She also recollected walking down the street when, “some horrible obnoxious teenager screamed out a car window to me, ”You”re fat!” I went to my parents [Sharon and Ozzy] bawling, ”I would rather be called ugly than be called fat!” ”

Cheryl Cole is making up her mind to remove the “Mrs C” tattoo from the back of her neck.

The 26-year-old singer is believed to have told pals that she wants the inking, a tribute to hubby Ashley, removed “as a matter of urgency”.

Cheryl had unveiled the tattoo in November 2007 at Girls Aloud band-mate Kimberley Walsh’’s 26th birthday bash.

But only two months later, allegations of the Chelsea star, 29, romping with hairdresser Aimee Walton, 24 had surfaced.

Now Cheryl is preparing to dish out 2,000 pounds to have the tattoo lasered off a top clinic in Los Angeles.

The body art removal will take nearly ten sessions, and she will have to wait up to six weeks between each session.

“Cheryl regrets having the tattoo done in the first place,” the Sun quoted a pal, as saying.

The insider added: “As far as she’’s concerned, there’’s no going back and she wants to remove any trace of Ashley as soon as possible.

“She knows that having the tattoo removed will be painful.

“But she doesn”t want to be reminded of her cheating ex every time she turns her back to the mirror.

“As soon as she has a gap in her schedule, she’’s going to start having the laser treatments.”

Shakira says she decided to cast Rafael Nadal opposite her in a new music video because she “identifies” with the Spanish tennis star.

The 33-year-old Colombian singer sparked romance rumours with Nadal when both of them were snapped meeting shortly before they filmed a racy promo for Shakira’’s new track Gypsy.

Nadal’’s rep rubbished the rumours earlier this month and now Shakira has opened up about her relationship with him.

“I thought that maybe I needed someone (in the video) I could in some way identify with. And Rafael Nadal is a person who has been totally committed to his career since he was very young, since he was 17, I believe,” the Daily Star quoted Shakira, as saying.

She added: “(The song represents my) way of living and seeing life. I”ve been on the road since I was very young, so that’’s where the gypsy metaphor comes from.”

Harrison Ford has revealed that he often makes jet journeys to buy a cheeseburger.

The Indiana Jones star began flying when he was 52 and after gaining his licence, he went on to buy several aircraft, which he keeps at Santa Monica Airport in California, reports the Daily Star.

He recently revealed in an interview the extent of his love for piloting, telling Live magazine, “Learning to fly is a work of art. I”m so passionate about flying I often fly up the coast for a cheeseburger. Flying is like good music; it elevates the spirit and it’’s an exhilarating freedom.”

However, the 67-year-old has been slammed by environmental activists over the comments.

And Dr. Wendy Buckley, director of the website Carbonfootprint.com, has urged Ford to set an environmental example and cut back on his flying.

“Flying is a huge source of carbon emissions and making unnecessary journeys by plane can no longer be seen as responsible to our environment,” she said.

“Stars like Harrison Ford need to embrace the huge opportunity to lead by example in the battle against climate change – reduce their overall lifestyle carbon footprint and carbon offset those unavoidable emissions,” she added.

American singer Adam Lambert has revealed that Scottish singer Susan Boyle’s cover of the Rolling Stones’ hit Wild Horses was “horrendous” and made him “cry with laughter”.

Boyle’s album ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ had kept the American Idol runner-up off the top of the U.S. charts after he released ‘For Your Entertainment’ in November last year.

Lambert, 28, sold an impressive 200,000 copies in his first week – but he couldn’t believe he was toppled by 48-year-old Boyle’s “terrible” album.

“If only it weren’t for Susan Boyle! I’m happy for her success, but that album is terrible. Wild Horses is the one that made me laugh the hardest,” the Daily Star quoted him as telling Britain’s Gay Times.

“I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!

“Still, when my album charted, it was validating. I was feeling bit attacked, like I had to vindicate something. I thought: ‘Wow, look what I did’,” he added.

The Wrestler’ star Mickey Rourke has come to the defence of ‘Transformers’ star Megan Fox, saying that her acting skills received undue criticism because she is beautiful.

Rourke, 57, who co-stars with Fox, 23, in new movie ‘Passion Play’, insists that she has a lot of talent.

“She doesn’t drink or do drugs. People say bad stuff about her and how she can’t act but they only say that because she’s beautiful,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

“She’s the most talented actress I’ve worked with. When she cries in a scene, I get emotional,” he added.
