‘Poker Face’ singer Lady Gaga is said to have dominated the annual Echo Awards in Berlin, winning three of the main awards.

Gaga, 23, real name Stefani Germanotta, was awarded for Best Newcomer, Best International Rock or Pop Act, and Hit Of The Year for Poker Face, but she was not present to pick up the trophies at the event on March 4, reports the Daily Star.

Other winners included Depeche Mode, who landed the title of Best International Pop/Rock Group, and Robbie Williams who received his seventh Echo Award after he was named Best International Pop Artist.

Rock band Silbermond and hip-hop artist Jan Delay were also honoured at the German Phonographic Academy’s ceremony, while reggae/rap artist Peter Fox landed the coveted Best Album award for Stadtaffe.

Glamour model Kendra Wilkinson has opened up about her battle with depression after she gave birth to her baby Hank Jr.

Wilkinson, 24, revealed she battled postpartum depression after giving birth, and that is was very hard to adjust to motherhood.

“After giving birth, I never brushed my hair, my teeth, or took a shower. I looked in the mirror one day and was really depressed,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling Ok! magazine.

“I thought, ‘Look at me. I had this glamorous life in L.A., and now (in Indianapolis) I didn’t’.

“A couple of times, I even said, ‘I just have nothing to live for’,” she added.

Kendra Wilkinson opens up about post baby blues

Filmmaker Tim Burton says he never wanted to make Alice In Wonderland.

Burton has helmed the new flick featuring Johnny Depp, 46, as the Mad Hatter.

However the 51-year-old director says he had not been intrigued by the idea of a movie and it was only after he got a chance to film a 3D version that he agreed for it.

“The way the characters and images have infiltrated culture is so strong,” the Daily Star quoted Burton, as saying.

Simon Cowell has turned X Factor beauties Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke into stars but can’t listen to their hits on his iPod – because he doesn’t know how to use one.

“I keep getting given iPods and I don’t know how to use them,” the Daily Star quoted Cowell, as saying.

The 50-year-old music mogul made the confession before Piers Morgan on Life Stories, which airs on ITV1 tonight at 9pm.

An uncut and extended ITV2 version airs tomorrow at 8.30pm.

Simon Cowell doesn’t know how to use an iPod!

Lady Gaga’s Brit fans will get to witness the singer performing three new concerts for the UK leg of her Monster Ball tour, but the steep rise in tickets prices has raised some concerns.

Gaga kicked off the tour in Manchester last month, when tickets were priced between 27.50 and 35pounds.

However, tickets for the new gigs, organised by a different promoter, cost between 50 and 75pounds.

Some fans have expressed their concerns over ticket prices on the singer’s website.

“Will we be getting a brand new show when the tour comes back to the UK in May? Or will the show be the same and fans will be expected to pay £75 for a show that only cost them £27 to see months earlier?,” the BBC quoted Ric Dickinson, as writing.

Another fan, using the name Barley 142007, said: “I was sure the price will go up but this is steep!!!!”

The shows at Sheffield and Nottingham were postponed earlier this week and will now form part of the Poker Face singer’s second outing.

Taking about these dates, Dickinson said: “I will gladly pay the extra if we are promised something extra, however surely it would be a case for trading standards, especially as the rescheduled shows will get to see a show that everyone else will get to see after paying three times as much.”

However, Arthur Fogel, chairman of global touring at Live Nation, said the ticket prices were reasonable.

He said: “What was a small arena/theatre production is now a massive, first rate arena production.

“Ticket prices for the previous dates were set long before the current Monster Ball show was developed. Ticket prices are comparable and fair.”

According to the Live Nation website, the tour has been extended due to “overwhelming response”. Tickets will be available from March 12.

Gaga will now croon at Birmingham, London and Manchester in May and June. She will perform at the same venues she has visited on the current leg of her tour.
