Everybody knew him for organizing lively pre-Oscar bashes at his home in Coldwater Canyon, nurturing A-list talents and sustaining perfect friendships with numerous stars that were represented by him.
That longtime Hollywood agent, Ed Limato, died at the age of 73 this Saturday.

Christian Muirhead, the William Morris Endeavor Entertainment agency representative, informed the press that the star died in Beverly Hills at his home after a long struggle with lung disease.

Ed Limato spent practically all 44 years of his star career at the International Creative Management and William Morris Agency. It is definitely known that there were such top stars in his list as Denzel Washington, Sharon Stone, Michelle Pfeiffer, Steve Martin, Mel Gibson, Richard Gere, Billy Crystal, and Kevin Costner.

It is not typical of Hollywood practices, but Ed Limato was a real friend for the majority of stars that were represented by him.

In a Variety profile in 2005 the star agent confessed that great talents are commonly regarded by agents as mere commodities which can bring huge profits to them. But Ed Limato sincerely believed that, on the contrary, talents should be served. If an agent really believes in his client’s success, he will be with his future star till the very end – through all ups and downs.

Annette Bening has a strange feeling as if she is flying above San Francisco.

This star, who has been three times nominated to the Academy Award, has come to that city to promote “The Kids Are All Right,” her latest film. This movie tells the story about a family consisting of two moms, whose offsprings are looking for their biological dad. It is known to them that their father was Paul (Mark Ruffalo plays this role), a sperm donor.

Another Academy Award nominee (this time four times) Julianne Moore appeared in that flick as a landscape designer, a sometimes-employed one. She is restlessly trying but still fails to track her path. She is partnered with Nick (played by Annette Bening), who is a doctor in the film. It is interesting that each of these women used the same sperm donor to give birth to their children.

When their kids Laser and Joni start to build their relations with Paul who is a restaurateur constantly driving a motorcycle, both mothers got puzzled and deadlocked concerning the most important issue: how to change their family in order to find a place for him.

Though her presented set contained only well-known hits and the whole staging was primarily borrowed from her tour in 2008, the star singer added some absolutely new numbers to her performance such as recently released singles Nothing and Make Me.

As popular celebrities such as the Housewives of Atlanta cast members, Omarosa, and Perry, who were present at that festival, noticed that stressed dazzling and over-the-top sexiness video effects were displayed by Janet Jackson.

They appeared in stead of the singing. According to them, the star took the right decision. Janet’s quiet numbers such as Again and Let’s Wait Awhile benefited greatly from such a strategy.
