Bombshell Priyanka Chopra, known for her inimitable sex appeal, and never one to shy away from ‘bold’ sequences where scripts called for it, Priyanka had categorically refused to ever do an item number in an interview. She has never done a solo item number till date but she does have some rocking chartbuster dance numbers to her credit like ‘Desi Girl’ from ‘Dostana’, ‘Touch Me’ from ‘Aitraaz’, ‘Darling’ from ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.

?

But the 28-year-old has apparently had a change of heart for doing an item number. Perhaps considering how Munni and Sheila became overnight rages nationwide.
Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is all set to put on her dancing shoes to sizzle on an item number in the forthcoming film ‘Tezz’ being directed by Bollywood’s favourite funny man Priyadarshan, and will star Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Kangna Ranaut. The item song for Piggy Chops has apparently been compiled by the celebrated music composer duo Sajid-Wajid.

?

First ever item number in the forthcoming film Tezz will be a spoof on the hit item numbersMunni Badnam Huiand Sheila Ki Jawani. Sources claim that Priyanka’s item debut is intended as a funny take on Munni and Sheila and it will be hotter and sexier than Katrina’s ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ and Malaika’s ‘Muni Badnaam Hui.’

Ayesha Takia back on track

B’town starlets who have tied the nuptial knot, it seems are bent on breaking the unwritten rule of showbiz that married actresses don’t sell.
After Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tondon re- entered Bollywood, now Ayesha Takia is going to join the bandwagon soon.
The news is pouring that the ‘Wanted’ actress is raring to go and has zeroed upon Nitin Manmohan’s ‘Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai’ for her second innings. The film is a satire on corruption and is to be directed by Rumy Jaffery.
“My film will have Akshay Khanna and Ayesha Takia. We are shooting from next month and it will be a fifty-day start to finish schedule in Bhopal. The name Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai points at the corruption that has seeped into every corner of the country,” says Jaffery.
The director further adds, “I wrote the characters keeping Akshay and Ayesha in mind. While Akshay plays a man who is a victim of corruption, Ayesha plays the wife who stands by him.
Only Akshay could have played the character! I share a great rapport with him as we previously worked together in Aa Ab Laut Chale. Also, Ayesha is a wonderful actress and has proven herself in films like Dor. The music of the movie is being composed by Anu Malik and one song of the movie has already been recorded.”
Reportedly, Ayesha has recently finished Nagesh Kukunoor’s Mod also.
