The accident happened while Karylle was doing a musical production along with Arnel Pineda, Yeng, Vina Morales and Jed Madela. While the said incident happened in the same day as Anne, I wonder why it took so long for the photos to disseminate. I wonder if ASAP management would consider being strict on the wardrobe department in the future? Naah, this publicity might even boost the show’s ratings and more live audience would clamor to attend the tapings.

Vanness Wu Girlfriend, Looks like reformed “player” turned church boy Vanness Wu is getting back in the game. He recently confirmed rumors that have been flying around regarding his new relationship status.

Recently, the paparazzi snapped some photos of Vanness and a mysterious girl with whom he was acting very intimately with. “Since [we] have been photographed, it’s best to admit it. She is indeed my new girlfriend. [We] have just started seeing each other,” said Vanness in a statement to the press. Vanness has previously claimed that he made a pact with God to stay abstinent until marriage. Old habits die hard, Mr. Wu. Good luck.

Jennifer Hudson Weight Loss 2010, Jennifer Hudson is the former American Idol contestant turned singer/movie star.  She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress several years back for her spectacular performance in “Dreamgirls” alongside Beyonce.  Her debut album, “Jennifer Hudson” has sold well over 700,000 copies and became certified gold by the Recording Industry Association.  She’s performed at the Grammys, AI, Oprah Winfrey Show and the Superbowl making her a household name for many.  Recently, Jennifer Hudson’s weight loss in 2010 has been in the news, as fans are interested to find out what she did to drop the pounds.  So what is the Jennifer Hudson weight loss secret plan?  Simple, she joined up with Weight Watchers to help get rid of excess pounds.

Jennifer Hudson just gave birth to her first child from her fiance David Otunga, a boy they named David Daniel Otunga Jr.  It can be tough to get in shape after a pregnancy, and when Hudson saw a picture of herself post-pregnancy, she did a double-take.  Hudson was able to lose that baby weight and she credits the Weight Watchers organization for helping her slim down.  At an April 1st news conference she showed off her slim self, now that she is on a national advertising campaign for Weight Watchers.

Hudson’s weight loss story is profiled here at the Weight Watchers website.  She also keeps a blog to talk about her quest for better health.  Hudson claims there was no magic or illusions involved.  She simply followed Weight Watchers guidelines and watched the weight start to come after several weeks.  She notes on her April 1 blog entry that she was amazed to “realize you don’t have to be miserable while you are losing weight.  You can eat what you love.”

Hudson noted that she’s never been uncomfortable with her weight before, but once she gave birth, seeing the photos helped her make that decision to get in better shape.  She took control of her body and eating habits, and they’ve even rubbed off on her fiance, David Otunga.  Otunga is a chiseled professional wrestler in training, currently working on the WWE show “NXT” where 8 rookie wrestlers compete for a contract.  Hudson said that Otunga is inspired by what she’s doing and now does weigh-ins, as well as recording everything he eats.  Way to go Jennifer Hudson on the weight loss and hopefully on inspiring many others to take control of their situations as well!

Bruce Lee’s 70th birthday is marked with an exhibit in Hong Kong and an upcoming film, while his ancestral town hopes to attract tourists with monuments honouring the kung fu legend.

A Hong Kong exhibit unveiled by his wife and daughter is only one of many projects aiming to revive the superstar’s legacy, decades after his death.

The exhibit, entitled Bruce Lee 7010, includes Bruce Lee films, personal items, seminars and a newly launched publication “Bruce Lee Lives”. “Bruce Lee was a unique person, as a person, as a man, then as an actor or martial artist. He was a very unique person and I think that is what people have recognised — that there’s much more to him than just being an actor or martial artist,” said Lee’s widow, Linda Lee Cadwell.

Lee became a a source of Chinese pride by portraying characters that defended the Chinese and the working class from oppressors in films like “Return of the Dragon”. He died in Hong Kong in 1973 at the age 32 from swelling of the brain.

“My father really worked extremely hard, I mean, he trained for hours and hours everyday, he pushed himself and he was really passionate and driven to be the best at everything he tried to do,” said his daughter, Shannon Lee Keasler.

While Lee is renowned the world over as a martial arts legend with a slew of action films to his name, back in his father’s Chinese hometown, where many share the Lee name, his legacy remains low-key.
In the sleepy town of Xiacun in southern China, elders doze and children play along “little dragon” alley, which winds its way to the ancestral home of the kung fu star.

The small, grey-brick courtyard house contains old photos of Lee on the walls, an altar, a musty bedroom and a wooden dummy used for martial arts training, but visitors are few and far between. Other projects commemorating the town’s most famous son are also off the tourist radar.
Town officials, however, realise the potential to cash in on Lee’s legacy, as his admirers are still legion.

Modern martial arts practitioners like Wang Hongxin, who is a master of nunchuka sticks, a martial arts weapon which Bruce Lee excelled at, said the star continues to embody China’s struggle to stand up to the West.

“When Bruce Lee was abroad, it was a time when foreigners discriminated against Chinese. Bruce Lee won his reputation in foreign countries with his fist. The greatness or smallness of your capability decides your viability.

Under those circumstances the only way to prove your kung fu skills is to fight,” Wang said.
Millions have been invested in a park called Bruce Lee Paradise, filled with lakes and rare birds, which authorities in Shunde and nearby Foshan hope will become a major tourist draw. But the park, nearly 90 minutes by car from Guangzhou along dusty highways, is off the beaten tourist track.
A 12-meter high (39-foot) bronze statue of Lee remains half-finished. A museum filled with Lee’s weapons, books, posters and other memorabilia is virtually deserted. But a Bruce Lee craze could be brewing, with films about him in the works, including “Ip Man 2,” chronicling the life of his teacher.

“Bruce Lee is already a standard. He’s like Confucius, you know, he is a standard. He is part of our culture that we will embrace for the rest…and so on,” said Kung Fu film star, Donnie Yen, who plays Ip Man in the movie.

“Through his entire life of studying, you know, first of all he never stopped progressing as a martial artist. He was in search of the higher level all the way until his death,” Yen said.

Hong Kong arthouse director Wong Kar-wai is also working on an Ip Man film. There are also plans to convert Lee’s old house in Hong Kong, now used as an hourly love motel, into a museum, and to build a commemorative one in Seattle, where Lee studied and taught martial arts.

HYDERABAD: Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis player Sania Mirza, two of South Asia’s best known sports personalities, are to marry in April, the players said on Tuesday.

On Tuesday night, Sania Mirza appeared before the media and officially announced the date of her marriage – April 11. The reception will be held on April 15.

Sania said she and Shoaib will settle in Dubai after marriage. Sania revealed that she met Shoaib for the first time 6-7 years ago.

However, the tennis star made it clear that she play for India while Shoaib will play for Pakistan.

“I will decide on career course after playing in Olympics in 2012,” said Sania.

“I’m very happy, we’re all very happy,” Mirza told reporters in her home town of Hyderabad.

“It’s still a few days away or a few weeks away.”

Malik, an all-rounder who captained Pakistan between 2007and 2009, told television channels in Pakistan: “We both are also happy and it’s happening next month”.

The couple will settle in Dubai after their marriage, Mirza said.

To a question, Sania said she would support both India and her husband in a match between two rivals.

The 23-year-old was the first Indian to win a WTA tour event in 2005 and reached her highest world ranking of 27 two years ago although she has since slipped to 92nd.

Malik, 28, has been fighting a 12-month ban by the Pakistan Cricket Board for poor performance and indiscipline.
