The time when Shilpa Shetty felt harassed by Jade Goody is long forgotten by the Bollywood actress. The two were once enemies, but turned into good friends despite the issues of race that arose during “Big Brother” in 2007.
Jade Goody has been fighting a losing battle with cervical cancer. And Shilpa Shetty sees this as her chance to say one last goodbye to her enemy turned friend. Jade Goody’s health has especially deteriorated in the last few days and friends and family are concerned that this may be the end.
A close friend of Shilpa Shetty’s told sources that “Whatever happened between Shilpa and Jade was in the past. Shilpa can’t believe how fast Jade’s life has been devastated. It has made her realize the futility of fights, rivalries and mundane bickering…Yes, she’s been very keen to meet Jade for a while, but was unable to make it because of her various commitments. But now there seems to be little choice. Either Shilpa rushes to meet Jade now or it’s too late.”
The actress has truly shown a spirit of forgiveness and has seen her opportunity to say a final good-bye to someone she may have had a rough start with. As the gorgeous Shilpa Shetty hurriedly finished off any last-minute chores before going to London to see Jade Goody one last time she told sources, “I really don’t want to say anything on this. It’s too personal. But what has happened with Jade is really sad.”
