Sonic The Hedgehog 4

Sonic The Hedgehog 4, Gamespot has the exclusive on the brand new Sonic The Hedgehog 4 game – so until someone rips out the video and shoves , you’ll have to head on over there to see the trailer. You’ll notice that the trailer says “Episode 1? and that’s because Sonic The Hedgehog 4 will be episodic, and will arrive this Summer on PS3, Xbox 360 and, er, Wii. The HD consoles will surely be the platforms of choice though because the HD visuals look absolutely stunning.
And yes, that’s a new Sonic game, from SEGA, that doesn’t look terrible. The game picks up straight after Sonic & Knuckles, is entirely built around 2D gameplay and will feature speed-run leaderboards and, bizarrely, SixAxis motion control for the PS3 version. Still, that aside, this looks absolutely fantastic and this Summer just got a whole lot better. With no ‘friends’ and no dodgy 3D, this is looking like the best Sonic game since, well, Sonic & Knuckles.
