Ever since Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor have worked together in ‘Mausam’, the duo has developed a great bond with each other. They are real good buddies and are often seen showering praises on each other.
Recently during the Colgate Maxfresh party, the young actor expressed his admiration for Sonam. He said, “I think Sonam is a wonderful looking girl and she looks very simple and innocent. This is the reason why dad (actor-director Pankaj Kapur) was keen to cast her in ‘Mausam’. In her upcoming film (‘Players’), she is looking wonderful. Vidya shot to fame playing a simpleton in movies like ‘Parineeta’, ‘Munnabhai’ and ‘Pa’. The starlet in a quest to explore new shores then decided to play a sex symbol in the biopic on Silk Smitha ‘The Dirty Picture’. But it was not any child’s play for her.
“I would have to say that Silk (her character name in the film) has been an extremely demanding, exhausting, tiring and yet very fulfilling and exhilarating role for me to have played.”
“It’s like a workout. Sometimes you kill yourself during the workout and you feel dead after that. But it’s also extremely exhilarating and there is a sense of adrenalin rush after the workout and that is how I feel after this film,” Vidya said.
Talking about the 80s and 90s era, the 32- year- old starlet said “Films in those times were full of masala and entertainment. Songs and dance used to start at any point in the film amidst pots, colours and oranges. I have done all that in this film, so all my wishes are fulfilled.”

Recently, John who is touring the country with his ‘Desi Boyz’ team Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh reached Pune for a promotional event, got into a tussle with a fan.
An eyewitness reports, when the ‘Dostana’ actor was leaving the event with his fellow actors, a fan came after him. John turned around in rage and pushed the unidentified man a couple of times. Ultimately, security guards at the event had to intervene to take control of the situation.
While many think that John went overboard for no reason, a source close to him justified his reaction, alleging that the actor had noticed the same man troubling a woman at the event.

Pooja Bhatt’s plan of making the sequel of her 2003 hit film ‘Jism’ has been a bumpy ride so far. The actress turned filmmaker is still hunting for the star cast and has not been able to finalise the lead pair of ‘Jism 2’.
The movie saw a setback when the lead pair from the prequel John Abraham and Bipasha Basu pulled out of it refusing to work with each other.
However, Pooja then approached Mallika Sherawat for the same role but she was left empty handed once again. Mallika apparently demanded Rs. 1 crore as her acting fee which the filmmaker was not willing to pay.
It is now heard that Pooja has opened up the lead pair’s role to other possible actors and actresses.
